My wife, Megan and I both grew up here in Cincinnati going to Colerain high school where we dated. From there we both went to Cincinnati Christian University in Price Hill. During our time there we both fell in love with that part of town, and Megan enjoyed the opportunity to do her student teaching in the local schools. During our early years at CCU we went to the Vineyard Community Church in Tri-County. Later, we heard that they had done a church plant in the westside and had to check it out. The church itself was being held in the Danbury theatre, where they are still today. Megan and I volunteered to help set-up equipment and run wires to and from the various pieces of sound equipment. After graduating from CCU I moved down to Wilmore in order to go to school at Asbury Theological Seminary. It was my first time being on my own and away from my family and was a great opportunity. The following summer Megan and I were married and she moved down to Wilmore with me. During that year we meet some great people and being by ourselves, for that first year of marriage, forced us to deal with one another that I would not trade for anything. However, as the school year came to a close I think we both were homesick and missed being close to family and friends. So like the westsiders we are, we came back and plan to settle our feet and raise our family here in Cincinnati. There is something magnetic about this city and this church is a part of that magnetic pulse.
